This Yoga Barre Teacher Training with Ava, offered is an immersive training with over 75 hours of contact time. We start the training online, with live Zoom hours to learn the yoga barre principles and fundamentals of building a class. Specific to the MAR training, Ava will be in person IN Vietnam for an intensive to fully prepare to teach! She will be able to individually help and mentor each student/teacher and help them feel confident to share this practice with others, all while you’re getting exclusive time in classes and workshops in person with her.

I’ve been teaching Yoga Barre for nine years, and have been personal training and teaching yoga for over a decade! I’m honored to have worked with over 3000 students and to have taught over 10,000 hours. I’ve trained over 100 talented students in Yoga Barre, and have seen many of them go on to teach on many scales and integrate this practice into their lives. I can’t wait to share my love for this practice with you!

Over 60 Virtual Contact hours including 2 individual 30 minute sessions with Ava. This training will also include pre-recorded resources such as full yoga barre classes, mini sessions, workshops, anatomy lectures, prop focused classes and so much more for you to utilize outside of meeting time.
- The fundamentals of Barre, Yoga and Pilates practices including the 8 limbs of yoga
- Build your own Yoga Barre Sequence and develop an understanding of the structure of a successful Yoga Barre Class
- Develop continuity in your teaching through a deep understanding of language for cueing, transitions and musically
- Learn functional and practical anatomy in relation to Yoga Barre
- How to teach from body neutral and a body empowered lens
- Learn to teach rhythmically, learn musicality, build and curate playlists
- Teach to all levels and effectively teach to all students through modifications, building advanced and beginner classes
- Learn how to lead people through movement online/in-person
- Develop your own personalized teaching style
- Understanding of the business of Yoga Barre and online teaching platforms
